ALICE : online-offline processing for Run 3
/ Rohr, David (CERN)
/ALICE Collaboration
ALICE will increase the data-taking rate for Run 3 significantly to 50 kHz continuous readout of minimum bias Pb--Pb collisions. The foreseen reconstruction strategy consists of 2 phases: a first synchronous online reconstruction stage during data-taking enabling detector calibration, and a posterior calibrated asynchronous reconstruction stage. [...]

Data Analysis using ALICE Run 3 Framework
/ Eulisse, Giulio (CERN) ; Alkin, Anton (BITP, Kiev) ; Grosse-Oetringhaus, Jan Fiete (CERN) ; Hristov, Peter (CERN ; Warsaw U. of Tech.) ; Innocenti, Gian Michele (CERN) ; Kabus, Maja Jadwiga (Warsaw U. of Tech.)
The ALICE Experiment is currently undergoing a major upgrade program, both in terms of hardware and software, to prepare for the LHC Run 3. A new Software Framework is being developed in collaboration with the FAIR experiments at GSI to cope with the 100-fold increase in the number of recorded events. [...]

Event shape dependence of anisotropic flow for inclusive and identified hadrons in Pb–Pb and Xe–Xe collisions with ALICE
/ Besoiu, M (Bucharest, Inst. Space Science)
/ALICE Collaboration
Event Shape Engineering technique has been used to select events corresponding to a specific initial geometry in a given centrality class. For those events, the elliptic ( ν 2 ) and triangular ( ν 3 ) flow coefficients of inclusive as well as identified particles, including π ± , K ± , p+p‾ , KS0 , Λ+Λ‾ , and Ξ−+Ξ‾+ are measured in Pb–Pb collisions at sNN=5.02TeV recorded by ALICE. Anisotropic flow fluctuations of charged and identified hadrons in Pb-Pb collisions with the ALICE detector
/ Zhu, Ya (Hua-Zhong Normal U. ; Bohr Inst.)
/ALICE Collaboration
Anisotropic flow fluctuations can be used to constrain the initial conditions and probe the properties and evolution of the system created in heavy-ion collisions. In this proceeding, the pT -differential flow coefficient vn with 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-particle cumulants for charged hadrons are investigated, which allows to study the higher order moments, including skewness and kurtosis, of v2 probability density function (p.d.f.).
