Searches for new phenomena in final states with 3rd generation quarks using the ATLAS detector / Gadow, Philipp (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many theories beyond the Standard Model predict new phenomena, such as heavy vectors or scalar, vector-like quarks, and leptoquarks in final states containing bottom or top quarks. Such final states offer great potential to reduce the Standard Model background, although with significant challenges in reconstructing and identifying the decay products and modelling the remaining background. [...]

Search for electroweak production of supersymmetric sleptons and charginos with the ATLAS detector / Ballabene, Eric (Università degli Studi e INFN Milano (IT)) /ATLAS Collaboration
A new search for the electroweak production of supersymmetric particles decaying into two leptons with missing transverse momentum is presented. Assuming $R$-parity conservation, two simplified models are considered: direct pair production of sleptons decaying into the lightest neutralinos through leptons of the Standard Model (SM) and direct pair production of the lightest charginos decaying into the lightest neutralinos through $W$ bosons of the SM. [...]

ATLAS measurements of photo-nuclear processes in Pb+Pb collisions / Gilbert, Benjamin Jacob (Columbia University (US)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Ultra-peripheral collisions (UPC) of relativistic heavy-ion beams lead to a diverse set of photon-nucleus interactions. This talk presents two recent ATLAS measurements of photo-nuclear processes in Pb+Pb collisions at 5.02 TeV. [...]

Recent searches for new phenomena with the ATLAS detector / Fawcett, William James (University of Cambridge (GB)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Many theories beyond the Standard Model (BSM) have been proposed to address several of the Standard Model shortcomings, such as the origin of dark matter and neutrino masses, the fine-tuning of the Higgs Boson mass, or the observed pattern of masses and mixing angles in the quark and lepton sectors. Many of these BSM extensions predict new particles or interactions directly accessible at the LHC. [...]

Novel Measurements of Dijet Quenching with ATLAS / Rinn, Timothy Thomas (Brookhaven National Laboratory (US)) /ATLAS Collaboration
High energy partons are well established to lose energy when traversing the hot and dense medium produced in heavy-ion collisions. This results in a modification to the transverse momentum distributions of jets, producing a phenomenon known as jet quenching. [...]

Top quark precision measurements with the ATLAS experiment / Wahdan, Shayma (Bergische Universitaet Wuppertal (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
The large top quark samples in top quark pair and single top production have yielded measurements of the production cross section of unprecedented precision and in new kinematic regimes. They have also enabled new measurements of top quark properties that were previously inaccessible. [...]

ATLAS measurements of photon-photon fusion processes in Pb+Pb collisions / Grabowska-Bold, Iwona (AGH University of Science and Technology (PL)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Relativistic heavy-ion beams at the LHC are accompanied by a large flux of equivalent photons, leading to multiple photon-induced processes. This talk presents a series of measurements of such processes performed by the ATLAS Collaboration. [...]

Multiboson Production at ATLAS / Gupta, Ruchi (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DE)) /ATLAS Collaboration
Measurements of multiboson production at the LHC probe the electroweak gauge structure of the Standard Model for contributions from anomalous couplings. In this talk we present recent ATLAS results on the first observation of three W boson production at the LHC (WWW). [...]

The ATLAS Experiment Upgrade Program / ATLAS Collaboration /ATLAS Collaboration
After 9 years of successful operation in proton-proton collisions reaching up to $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV, the ATLAS detector started in 2018 the preparations for an ambitious physics project, aiming the exploration of very rare processes and extreme phase spaces, an endeavor that will require a substantial increase in the integrated luminosity. To accomplish this purpose, a comprehensive upgrade of the detector and associated systems was devised and planned to be carried out in two phases. [...]
