Quark mass RG-running for $N_f$ =3 QCD in a $\chi SF$ setup / Plasencia, Isabel Campos ; Brida, Mattia Dalla ; de Divitiis, Giulia Maria ; Lytle, Andrew ; Papinutto, Mauro ; Pirelli, Ludovica ; Vladikas, Anastassios
We compute the nonperturbative quark mass RG-running in the range $\Lambda_{QCD}\lessapprox\mu\lessapprox M_W$ for $N_f=3$ massless QCD with a mixed action approach: sea quarks are regularised using nonperturbatively $O(a)$-improved Wilson fermions with Schrödinger functional (SF) boundary conditions, employing the configurations of 1802.05243, while valence quarks are regularised using nonperturbatively $O(a)$-improved Wilson fermions with chirally rotated Schrödinger functional boundary conditions ($\chi$SF). Mounting Evidence for the Violation of Lepton Flavor Universality / Crivellin, Andreas (Zurich U. ; PSI, Villigen ; CERN) ; Hoferichter, Martin (Bern U.)
The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics was finalized in its current form in the mid-1970s, and has been extensively tested and confirmed ever since, with the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 being the last missing piece. While no new particles have been directly discovered at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN so far, precision observables sensitive to quantum effects of new particles have accumulated intriguing hints for physics beyond the SM. General Analytical Conditions for Inflaton Fragmentation: Quick and Easy Tests for its Occurrence / Kim, Jinsu (CERN) ; McDonald, John (Lancaster U.)
Understanding the physics of inflaton condensate fragmentation in the early Universe is crucial as the existence of fragments in the form of non-topological solitons (oscillons or Q-balls) may potentially modify the evolution of the post-inflation Universe. [...]

Likelihood analysis of the flavour anomalies and $g-2$ in the general two Higgs doublet model / Athron, Peter (Nanjing Normal U. ; Monash U.) ; Balazs, Csaba ; Gonzalo, Tomás E. ; Jacob, Douglas ; Mahmoudi, Farvah ; Sierra, Cristian
We present a likelihood analysis of the general two Higgs doublet model, using the most important currently measured flavour observables, in view of the anomalies in charged current tree-level and neutral current one-loop rare decays of $B$ mesons in $b\to c l \overline{\nu}$ and $b\to s\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ transitions, respectively. Vacuum correlators at short distances from lattice QCD / Harris, Tim ; Cè, Marco ; Meyer, Harvey B. ; Toniato, Arianna ; Török, Csaba
We propose a method to help control cutoff effects in the short-distance contribution to integrated correlation functions, such as the hadronic vacuum polarization (HVP), using the corresponding screening correlators computed at finite temperature. The strategy is investigated with Wilson fermions at leading order, which reveals a logarithmically-enhanced lattice artifact in the short-distance contribution, whose coefficient is determined at this order.
