Firmware oriented trigger algorithm for CMS Drift Tubes in HL-LHC / Goy Lopez, Silvia (Madrid, CIEMAT)
A full replacement of the muon trigger system in the CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid) detector is envisaged for operating at the maximum instantaneous luminosities expected in HL-LHC (High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider) of about $5-7.5\times10^{34}$~cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. Under this scenario, the new on detector electronics that is being designed for the DT (Drift Tubes) detector will forward all the chamber information at its maximum time resolution. [...]

Level-1 track finding with an all-FPGA system at CMS for the HL-LHC / James, Thomas Owen (CERN) /CMS Collaboration
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is designed to study a wide range of high energy physics phenomena. It employs a large all-silicon tracker within a 3.8\,T magnetic solenoid, which allows precise measurements of transverse momentum ($p_\mathrm{T}$) and vertex position. [...]

Emittance scans for CMS luminosity calibration in Run 2 / Karacheban, Olena (CERN) /CMS Collaboration
The absolute luminosity calibration for LHC experiments is derived from dedicated beam separation scans, known as van der Meer (vdM) scans. However, vdM scans are performed with special beam optics, wide beams, and fewer, well-separated bunches to reduce potential systematic effects, and only once per year per collision mode. [...]

$\bf{\Lambda_{c}^{+}}$ production in pp and PbPb collisions at 5.02~TeV with the CMS detector / Xiao, Rui (Purdue U.) /CMS Collaboration
Due to their large masses, the interactions of heavy quarks with the quark-gluon plasma (QGP) may be different from those of light quarks. The lightest charm baryon is the $\Lambda_{c}^{+}$, composed of a charm quark and two light quarks. [...]

Status of searches in the long-lived particle and dark sectors, including full run-2 and HL-LHC prospects / Alimena, Juliette (Ohio State U.) /ATLAS, CMS and LHCB Collaborations
Particles beyond the standard model can generically have lifetimes that are long compared to SM particles at the weak scale. When produced at the LHC at CERN, these long-lived particles (LLPs) can decay far from the primary proton-proton interaction, or even completely pass through the detector before decaying. [...]

Study of the effects of radiation on the CMS Drift Tubes Muon Detector for the HL-LHC / Gonzalez Caballero, Isidro (Oviedo U.)
The CMS drift tubes (DT) muon detector, built for standing up the LHC expected integrated and instantaneous luminosities, will be used also in the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) at a 5 times larger instantaneous luminosity and, consequently, much higher levels of radiation, reaching about 10 times the LHC integrated luminosity. Initial irradiation tests of a spare DT chamber at the CERN gamma irradiation facility (GIF++), at large (~O(100)) acceleration factor, showed ageing effects resulting in a degradation of the DT cell performance. Searches for gluinos and squarks / Vami, Tamas Almos (Johns Hopkins U.) /ATLAS ,CMS and SUSY Collaborations
Despite the great success of the Standard Model, it still does not explain Dark Matter, matter/antimatter asymmetry and it does not unite the electroweak and the strong forces. As a possible solution, the theory of Supersymmetry was proposed. [...]

Open Data at CMS: Status and Plans / McCauley, Thomas (Notre Dame U.) /CMS Collaboration
The CMS Experiment at the LHC has released many large datasets of proton-proton collision data as well as simulation to the public as part of its commitment to data preservation and open access. The collision data released totals around 2 fb$^{-1}$ at 7 TeV and nearly 12 fb$^{-1}$ at 8 TeV.Data preservation describes the efforts to not only preserve the data itself but the conditions in which it can be analyzed. Searches for strong production of supersymmetry in CMS / Vami, Tamas Almos (Johns Hopkins U.) /CMS Collaboration
Searches for production of supersymmetric partners of gluons and quarks with the CMS experiment at CERN's LHC have excluded these particles for masses up to the TeV scale. The talk will present results and show the analysis techniques in these searches, with an emphasis on the use of razor variables for the discrimination between standard model backgrounds and signal..
