Performance of the low-pT tau identification algorithm /CMS Collaboration
There is an increasing demand to identify hadronically decaying tau leptons (denoted as $\tau_\text{h}$) below a $p_\text{T}$ of 10 GeV, such as for B-physics analyses and compressed SUSY searches. However, the orthodox $\tau_\text{h}$ identification algorithm is not applicable in the low $p_\text{T}$ regime, because the daughter particles from the $\tau_\text{h}$ decay will be spread over a large $\eta$--$\phi$ region and will not be confined in a single jet anymore from which $\tau_\text{h}$ is reconstructed. Muon tracking performance in the CMS Run-2 Legacy data using the tag-and-probe technique /CMS Collaboration

The performance is presented of the measurement of the missing transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}^{\rm miss}$) in events containing a photon and jets collected by the CMS experiment in proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13~\rm TeV$ in 2018 (End-Of-Year (EOY) and prompt reconstruction). The dataset studied corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 60 $\mathrm{fb^{-1}}$, with on average 32 simultaneous `pileup' collisions occurring in the same bunch crossing, allowing us to probe events with up to 60 collision vertices. Performance of Same Sign Dimuon Trigger with 2016 pp Collision Data /CMS Collaboration
A same-sign double muon trigger was developed and implemented in LHC Run-2 to search for light pseudoscalar boson pairs produced in the decay of the 125 GeV Higgs boson and resulting in final states with four tau leptons.
