A search for the decay $B_s^0 \to D^{\ast +} D^{\ast -}$ and the measurement of its branching ratio $\mathcal{BR}(B_s^0 \to D^{\ast +} D^{\ast -})$ relative to $\mathcal{BR}(B^0 \to D^{\ast +} D^{\ast -})$ is presented. The search is performed on data corresponding to 9\,$\text{fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions recorded by the LHCb experiment at a centre of mass energy of 7, 8\,TeV in 2011 to 2012 and 13\,TeV in 2015 to 2018 [...]
