New result on phase shift analysis / Martin, André (CERN) ; Richard, Jean-Marc (IP2I, Lyon)
Assuming a certain continuity property, we prove, using the old results of Itzykson and Martin, that, except for an obvious ambiguity, there are only at most two amplitudes reproducing an elastic differential cross section at a given energy..

Prospects of searches for long-lived charged particles with MoEDAL / Acharya, B.S. (King's Coll. London (main) ; ICTP, Trieste) ; De Roeck, A. (CERN ; Antwerp U.) ; Ellis, J. (King's Coll. London ; CERN ; NICPB, Tallinn) ; Ghosh, D.K. (IACS, Kolkata) ; Masełek, R. (Warsaw U.) ; Panizzo, G. (ICTP, Trieste ; INFN, Trieste) ; Pinfold, J.L. (Alberta U.) ; Sakurai, K. (Warsaw U.) ; Shaa, A. (Warsaw U.) ; Wall, A. (Alabama U.)
We study the prospects of searches for exotic long-lived particles with the MoEDAL detector at the LHC, assuming the integrated luminosity of 30 fb$^{-1}$ that is expected at the end of Run 3. MoEDAL incorporates nuclear track detectors deployed a few metres away from the interaction point, which are sensitive to any highly-ionizing particles. [...]

Bottom quark mass effects in associated $WH$ production with $H \to b\bar{b}$ decay through NNLO QCD / Behring, Arnd (KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Bizoń, Wojciech (Karlsruhe U., ITP ; KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Caola, Fabrizio (Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Melnikov, Kirill (Karlsruhe U., ITP) ; Röntsch, Raoul (CERN)
We present a computation of NNLO QCD corrections to the production of a Higgs boson in association with a $W$ boson at the LHC followed by the decay of the Higgs boson to a $b\bar{b}$ pair. At variance with previous NNLO QCD studies of the same process, we treat $b$ quarks as massive. [...]

Singlet night in Feynman-ville: one-loop matching of a real scalar / Haisch, Ulrich (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) ; Ruhdorfer, Maximilian (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Salvioni, Ennio (CERN) ; Venturini, Elena (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Weiler, Andreas (Munich, Tech. U.)
A complete one-loop matching calculation for real singlet scalar extensions of the Standard Model to the Standard Model effective field theory (SMEFT) of dimension-six operators is presented. We compare our analytic results obtained by using Feynman diagrams to the expressions derived in the literature by a combination of the universal one-loop effective action (UOLEA) approach and Feynman calculus. Higgs Production at NNLL$'$+NNLO using Rapidity Dependent Jet Vetoes / Gangal, Shireen (Tata Inst.) ; Gaunt, Jonathan R. (CERN) ; Tackmann, Frank J. (DESY) ; Vryonidou, Eleni (Nikhef, Amsterdam)
The rapidity-dependent jet veto observables $\mathcal{T}_{Bj}$ and $\mathcal{T}_{Cj}$ provide a tight jet veto at central rapidity, gradually transitioning to a loose veto at forward rapidities. They divide the phase space into exclusive jet bins in a different way to the traditional jet veto observable $p_{Tj}$, and are advantageous to use under harsh pile-up conditions. [...]

Proton Decay: Flipped vs Unflipped SU(5) / Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN ; NICPB, Tallinn) ; Garcia, Marcos A.G. (Madrid, IFT) ; Nagata, Natsumi (Tokyo U. ; HARC, Woodlands ; Athens Academy) ; Nanopoulos, Dimitri V. (Texas A-M ; HARC, Woodlands ; Athens Academy) ; Olive, Keith A. (Minnesota U., Theor. Phys. Inst.)
We analyze nucleon decay modes in a no-scale supersymmetric flipped SU(5) GUT model, and contrast them with the predictions for proton decays via dimension-6 operators in a standard unflipped supersymmetric SU(5) GUT model. We find that these GUT models make very different predictions for the ratios $\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 \mu^+)/\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 e^+)$, $\Gamma(p \to \pi^+ \bar{\nu})/\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 e^+)$, $\Gamma(p \to K^0 e^+)/\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 e^+)$ and $\Gamma(p \to K^0 \mu^+)/\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 \mu^+)$, and that predictions for the ratios $\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 \mu^+)/\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 e^+)$ and $\Gamma(p \to \pi^+ \bar{\nu})/\Gamma(p \to \pi^0 e^+)$ also differ in variants of the flipped SU(5) model with normal- or inverse-ordered light neutrino masses. Higgs-Pair Production via Gluon Fusion at Hadron Colliders: NLO QCD Corrections / Baglio, J. (CERN) ; Campanario, F. (Valencia U., IFIC ; KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Glaus, S. (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP ; KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Mühlleitner, M. (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Ronca, J. (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Spira, M. (PSI, Villigen) ; Streicher, J. (Tubingen U.)
Higgs-pair production via gluon fusion is the dominant production mechanism of Higgs-boson pairs at hadron colliders. In this work, we present details of our numerical determination of the full next-to-leading-order (NLO) QCD corrections to the leading top-quark loops. [...]

$T\bar T$-deformation and long range spin chains / Pozsgay, Balázs (Eotvos U. ; Budapest, Tech. U.) ; Jiang, Yunfeng (CERN) ; Takács, Gábor (Budapest, Tech. U. ; Eotvos U.)
We point out that two classes of deformations of integrable models, developed completely independently, have deep connections and share the same algebraic origin. One class includes the $T\bar T$-deformation of 1+1 dimensional integrable quantum field theory and related solvable irrelevant deformations proposed recently. [...]

We compute the exact partition function of the isotropic 6-vertex model on a cylinder geometry with free boundary conditions, for lattices of intermediate size, using Bethe ansatz and algebraic geometry. We perform the computations in both the open and closed channels. [...]

Improvement, generalization, and scheme conversion of Wilson-line operators on the lattice in the auxiliary field approach / Green, Jeremy R. (CERN) ; Jansen, Karl (NIC, Zeuthen) ; Steffens, Fernanda (Bonn U.)
Nonlocal quark bilinear operators connected by link paths are used for studying parton distribution functions (PDFs) and transverse momentum-dependent PDFs of hadrons using lattice QCD. The nonlocality makes it difficult to understand the renormalization and improvement of these operators using standard methods. [...]
