An Introduction to Go: Why and how to write good Go code / Campoy, Francesc (speaker) (source{d}, San Francisco, USA)
Go has recently hit its 1.10 release and recently celebrated its seventh anniversary as an open source project. During these years Go has become the language of the cloud and it has been adopted by companies and projects across the world, from Google to Microsoft and Apple, and is an essential part of the cloud as it powers Docker and Kubernetes. We will cover why the language was created, the key features that distinguish it from other languages, and how to write code that uses them correctly. We will also focus on the tooling around the language, which is a key factor on its success.   BIO: Francesc Campoy Flores is the VP of Developer Relations at source{d}, a startup applying ML to source code and building the platform for the future of developer tooling. Scale Invariant Theories of Gravity and the Meaning of the Planck Mass / Percacci, Roberto (speaker)
I will review metric-affine theories of gravity and the occurrence of a Higgs mechanism that gives mass to the gravitational connection. I will then discuss the possibility of achieving quantum scale invariance at high energy in such theories..

Building a viable asymptotically safe SM / Abel, Steven (speaker)
I report on recent work to embed the Standard Model within an asymptotically safe framework. This approach, which is based on gauge-Yukawa theories with interacting UV fixed points, focusses on providing a field theoretical UV completion to the SM along with radiative symmetry breaking. [...]

Recent CMS measurements on B_c and B_s spectroscopy / Sanchez Hernandez, Alberto (speaker) (Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN (MX))
The spectrum of the B_c family, composed of mesons made of a beauty quark and a charm antiquark (or vice-versa), provides a rich source of information on the non-perturbative QCD processes that bind heavy quarks into hadrons. While their masses and sizes place them between the charmonium and bottomonium systems, so that many properties can be theoretically inferred by interpolation of existing knowledge, the unequal quark masses and velocities open the door to more complex dynamics, where some (non-relativistic) approximations might break down. CERN Tape Archive: update on continuous integration / Leduc, Julien (speaker) (CERN)
CTA and EOS integration requires parallel development of features in both software that needs to be synchronized and systematically tested on a specific distributed development infrastructure for each commit in the code base. CTA Continuous Integration development initially started as a place to run functional system tests against the freshly built software. But its importance grew over time. This presentation is an update on CTA continuous integration use cases..
