News on fluctuations and correlations from the NA61/SHINE experiment / Maćkowiak-Pawłowska, Maja (Warsaw U. of Tech.) /NA61/SHINE Collaboration
In this contribution the latest NA61/SHINE results on fluctuations and correlations from the p+p, Be+Be, and Ar+Sc energy scans will be presented. The NA61 experimental results will be compared with existing NA49 data and with model predictions..

Particle Production Properties at SPS Energy Range — Recent Results from the NA61/SHINE Experiment / Pulawski, Sz (Silesia U.) ; Kowalski, S (Silesia U.)
One of the main physics goals of the NA61/SHINE programme on strong interactions is the study of the properties of the onset of deconfinement. This goal is pursued by performing an energy- (beam momentum 13A–158A GeV/c) and system-size (p+p, p+Pb, Be+Be, Ar+Sc, Xe+La) scan. In particular, recent inclusive spectra of identified hadrons in inelastic p+p and centrality selected Be+Be and Ar+Sc interactions at the SPS energies. [...]

The lead/scintillator transverse and longitudinal segmented forward hadron calorimeters will be used in the upgraded BM@N and NA61 experiments and future CBM and MPD experiments to measure centrality and reaction plane orientation in heavy-ion collisions. Common tasks in development of forward hadron calorimeters for these experiments, including development of different approaches of the centrality determination, signals treatment, energy calibration procedure are discussed..
