The NA64 setup spans a length of approximately 22 metres. It uses several detectors to measure the momentum, energy and type of the incoming particle. L’installation NA64 s’étend sur une longueur d’environ 22 mètres. Elle comprend plusieurs détecteurs qui, lorsqu’une particule les atteint, mesurent son impulsion (quantité de mouvement) et son énergie et déterminent de quel type de particule il s’agit.

The Dark Matter hypothesis : according to the standard cosmological model that describes the composition and evolution of the Universe, the Lambda Cold Dark Matter model, only 5% is formed of ordinary matter. 95% is due to the existence of dark matter and dark energy.L’hypothèse de la matière noire : d’après le modèle cosmologique standard qui décrit la composition et l’évolution de l’Univers, le modèle dit « Lambda matière noire froide » (Lambda Cold Dark Matter), 5 % seulement de l’Univers sont constitués de matière ordinaire ; 95 % de l’Univers est dû à l’existence de la matière noire et de l’énergie noire.
