Emittance and energy spread compensation for current and future low emittance synchrotron light sources / Hidas, D (Brookhaven Natl. Lab.) ; Shaftan, T (Brookhaven Natl. Lab.) ; Tanabe, T (Brookhaven Natl. Lab.) /National Synchrotron Light Source II Collaboration
This paper presents the results of an analysis focused on the behavior of emittance, energy spread and radiated power, as well as their variations in relation to the complement of active insertion devices in National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) operations. The spectra of radiated power of the installed insertion devices and analytic values of the emittance are compared to that measured by the NSLS-II online diagnostics. [...]

Conceptual design of an off-momentum collimation system in the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron for High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider proton beams / Patecki, Marcin (CERN) ; Mereghetti, Alessio (CERN) ; Mirarchi, Daniele (CERN) ; Redaelli, Stefano (CERN)
The CERN accelerator complex is undergoing an upgrade in order to meet the requirements of the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). One of the key needs is to increase the intensity of beams injected into the LHC from the current $1.15 \times 10^{11}$ to $2.3 \times 10^{11}$ $p^+ $ /bunch. [...]

FCC-ee: the synthesis of a long history of e+e- circular colliders / Oide, K (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Wenninger, J (CERN)
The design of FCC-ee is relying on the accumulated experience of $\mathrm {e^{+}e^{-}}$ colliders that have been designed, constructed and operated in the past 40 years. FCC-ee will surpass the 26.7 km long Large Electron Positron collider LEP by a factor 4 in size. [...]

Optimization of RF manipulations in the PS using Reinforcement Learning / Wulff, Joel Axel
The longitudinal structure of the beam is defined by a sequence of RF manipulations in the PS to achieve a bunch distance of 25 ns and a target longitudinal emittance of ǫl = 0.35 eVs for LHC type beams. [...]

Characterization of the slow extraction frequency response / Pari, M (CERN) ; Velotti, F M (CERN) ; Fraser, M A (CERN) ; Kain, V (CERN) ; Michels, O (CERN)
The main physics program of the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) is dedicated to the fixed target physics experiments hosted in the North experimental Area (NA). Protons are delivered to the NA via third-integer resonant slow extraction over an almost 5 s flattop. [...]

Electrodeposition of copper applied to the manufacture of seamless superconducting rf cavities / Amador, L Lain (CERN) ; Chiggiato, P (CERN) ; Ferreira, L M A (CERN) ; Garcia-Tabares, E (CERN) ; Koettig, T (CERN) ; Meyer, M S (CERN) ; Perez-Fontenla, A T (CERN) ; Puthran, K (CERN) ; Rosaz, G (CERN) ; Taborelli, M (CERN)
Niobium thin film coated copper superconducting radio frequency elliptical cavities have demonstrated for many years their strong potential as an alternative to bulk niobium cavities. The thin film lower performance at high rf field is often attributed to the defects observed in the elaborated Nb layer, sometimes originated from defects inherited from the substrate itself. [...]

The Forward Physics Facility: Sites, Experiments, and Physics Potential / Boyd, Jamie (CERN) ; Feng, Jonathan Lee (University of California Irvine (US)) ; Kling, Felix (SLAC) ; Garzelli, Maria Vittoria (CERN)
The Forward Physics Facility (FPF) is a proposal to create a cavern with the space and infrastructure to support a suite of far-forward experiments at the Large Hadron Collider during the High Luminosity era. Located along the beam collision axis and shielded from the interaction point by at least 100 m of concrete and rock, the FPF will house experiments that will detect particles outside the acceptance of all existing LHC experiments and will observe rare and exotic processes in an extremely low-background environment. [...]
